Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in facilities management within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist with documentation, vendor coordination, and writing Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs).



Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Documentation:
  
  
  
  • Maintain and update facilities documentation, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and safety records.
  
  
  • Assist in the creation and organization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for facility operations.
  
  
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory standards.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Vendor Coordination:
  
  
  
  • Communicate with vendors and service providers to schedule maintenance and repairs.
  
  
  • Track and report on vendor performance and service delivery.
  
  
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of new vendors.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs):
  
  
  
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to identify and justify capital expenditure projects.
  
  
  • Prepare and write detailed CERs, including project scope, budget estimates, and expected benefits.
  
  
  • Track and report on the status of approved CERs.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.


• Previous experience or coursework in facilities management or a manufacturing environment is a plus.
