RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's Tucson-based client is looking to add a Software Quality Assurance Application Analyst to their team. This is a contact position to start, it may have to opportunity to go fulltime later in 2025. This role aapplies technical and business area expertise in support of enterprise information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in implementing configuration and other changes to systems in conformance to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)


• Functions as initial point of contact for application support and executes initial diagnosis of issues


• Performs quality assurance, application testing, application upgrade analysis, business process analysis and system analysis to ensure optimum reliability, efficiency and application fit to the business area


• Supports development teams in the area of software quality assurance and testing on both mobile and web applications


• Work on the automation of manual test scripts


• Run test scripts


• Manage all mobile devices in test environments


• Gather data and evidence, sign off on work


• Assist with implementation of new test tools


• Performs application configuration and maintenance tasks required to adjust the application to best serve the needs of the client community


• Analyzes and recommends resolution of system problems, helps determine a course of action, and implements approved approach


• Assists with problem management activities such as root cause analysis


• Performs data quality assurance tasks needed to preserve the integrity of systems


• Plays key role in testing application patches, modifications and upgrades


• Identifies scope of test; Identifies and executes test cases and captures/compiles results


• Develops in-depth business area knowledge, including their strategies and expectations of technology


• Works with business areas and technical support staff to troubleshoot problems related to data errors, application defects and client training

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with software testing and QA tools, ideally the Tricentis toolset - Tosca, NeoLoad, qTest


• Understanding of web and mobile software testing and quality assurance


• Experience automating manual test scripts


• Creating test cases/test scripts


• Running test scripts


• Ability to work with stakeholders across the enterprise


• Great documentation, information gathering, written and verbal communication skills, ability to facilitate and run meetings

This position is initially a contract role running through mid-2025, there may be possibility for conversion to FTE. Remote candidates may be considered, however candidates that can be on site in Tucson Tues and Weds are preferred (onsite two day a week will be mandatory in the event of conversion to FTE).

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
