We are currently hiring a Customer Service Representative. This is a full-time remote position, and candidates must be able to work 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Eastern Time Zone. Although this is a remote role, the preference would be to live within commutable, driving distance to our headquarters in Spencer, MA to participate in collaborative meetings and onsite training as needed. What will you do in this role?

  • Responds to customer inquiries received by phone, email and fax. Document interaction in SalesForce.
  • Work closely with various departments, including sales, tele sales and the distribution centers.
  • Understand product lines and pricing to provide appropriate product recommendations, quotes or samples per customer requests or to resolve information-related complaints
  • Responsible for all aspects of order fulfillment from receipt of order through delivery and invoicing while also monitoring existing open work orders and expediting as needed

What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience (1-3 years previous customer service experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Basic computer skills, especially Excel, experience working with Salesforce or an ERP system a plus but not required
  • Problem solving skills with an ability to think outside the box to identify and address customer needs or complaints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Private home office or area to work without distractions
