**Hybrid 3 days in office**
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare supporting workpapers for various business income tax filings, including federal and state returns, apportionment worksheets, and tax models.
* Maintain and organize workpapers for IRS Form 990T and 1120 filings, ensuring accurate reporting for unrelated business activities and indirect overhead allocations.
* Collect and analyze K-1 investment information and coordinate tax forecasting activities, maintaining relevant Excel schedules.
* Review and ensure accuracy of income tax forms prepared by external advisors while staying informed of any changes in form requirements.
* Prepare General Ledger tax journal entries, reconciliations, and work with tax preparers on deferred tax assets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or business modeling roles, with a preference for for-profit or UBIT tax experience.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Adobe Pro, with a working knowledge of GAAP.
* Familiarity with corporate income tax (form 1120), and nonprofit-related business income (form 990 T).
* Experience in tax apportionment concepts.
