Systems Engineer Product Owner (Force Operations)

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and validate software development for the Force Operations (FO) team, ensuring alignment with Systems Engineering concepts and algorithms.


• Provide guidance to the development team and collaborate with Program Management to set priorities for each product increment and sprint.


• Deliver technical briefings and advisement to leadership on performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree (ABET preferred) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics.


• 
  Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.


• 
  Experience: Minimum 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience performing relevant duties.


• Basic understanding of Force Operations (FO) concepts, including asset protection, course of action (COA) development, and airspace control orders.


• Ability to oversee FO software development and verify team output based on agreed acceptance criteria.


• Familiarity with IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and current EO/FO implementations in DoD services.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


• 
  Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
