Responsibilities:
Prioritize and validate software development for the Force Operations (FO) team, ensuring alignment with Systems Engineering concepts and algorithms.
Provide guidance to the development team and collaborate with Program Management to set priorities for each product increment and sprint.
Deliver technical briefings and advisement to leadership on performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree (ABET preferred) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics.
Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience performing relevant duties.
Basic understanding of Force Operations (FO) concepts, including asset protection, course of action (COA) development, and airspace control orders.
Ability to oversee FO software development and verify team output based on agreed acceptance criteria.
Familiarity with IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and current EO/FO implementations in DoD services.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
Desired Qualifications:
Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
