Responsibilities:
Maintain and upgrade networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and remote access systems.
Design, manage, and support multi-zone network architecture and ensure high-quality data transmission.
Monitor network connectivity, analyze systems, and resolve complex interoperability issues across platforms.
Create network diagrams using approved tools and conduct testing on local and wide-area network systems.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other communication devices to user environments.
Participate in network planning, research, evaluation, and design.
Provide technical support, assist with hardware/software acquisition, and serve as a liaison with vendors.
Support internal research and contribute to proposal preparation for new solutions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Certification: Active CCNA or CCNP certification.
Proficiency with Cisco network products and network management systems.
Desired Qualifications:
Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP).
Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and CyberVision.
Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Layer 2 switching, OSI 7-layer model, static/dynamic routing, and ITIL processes.
