Join a global leader in the design, development, and production of military equipment as a Test Technician. Support the safety and effectiveness of mission-critical systems by troubleshooting and testing advanced hardware to ensure top-quality performance.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot production hardware, including circuit cards, harnesses, electrical boxes, and vehicle harnesses.
Perform routine testing of production hardware at the box and circuit card level using automated and semi-automated bench top equipment.
Troubleshoot production electro-mechanical hardware and support Test and Manufacturing Engineering teams in resolving production yield issues and customer returns/complaints.
Document results of troubleshooting, testing, and investigations to ensure compliance with Quality and Manufacturing systems.
Conduct hand-check testing using appropriate meters and equipment.
Collaborate with Test Engineering to troubleshoot test station issues and write documentation for resolving non-working items.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology (ASEET) or equivalent. Additional experience or military training will be considered in lieu of degree.
2-5 years of related work experience.
Familiarity with the use and operation of various test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, power supplies, logic analyzers, and bus analyzers.
Computer literacy, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and email applications.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics for troubleshooting production hardware.
Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining a Security Clearance.
Willingness to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective shoes and safety glasses.
Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with DITMCO and VXI testing equipment is a plus.
