As the Lead Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting creative cocktails, overseeing bar operations, and ensuring our guests receive outstanding service. You'll lead a team of bartenders, manage inventory, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the beauty and spirit of Newport Pier.



Responsibilities




Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including signature cocktails, wines, and craft beers.


• Oversee bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.


• Create and update drink menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.


• Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.


• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender, with a minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  
  
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beers.
  
  
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  
  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  
  
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
