Distribution Center Supervisor at Roth Staffing Companies in Jamesburg, New Jersey

Job Description:

We are recruiting for a temporary Supervisor to cover a long term LOA at a Distribution Center in Jamesburg, NJ. Must be able to work early shift (4am - 1:30pm) and 2+ Saturdays a month. $30+/hr DOE.


Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for SAFETY Training with employees.


• Manage all aspects of reporting including monthly performance discussions, daily audits and daily coaching based on audit findings.


• Supervise and monitor daily volumes and activities to ensure all KPI's are achieved.


• Supervise and monitor all administrative and support functions. Maintain daily communication with DC Manager and both internal and external customers.


• Supervise and prioritize inventory related activities to include parts inspections, mixed stock situations, cycle counts and problem solving.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.


• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years of frontline supervisory experience with demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and communication.


• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Distribution Center, Warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Skills

• Use of intermediate software packages (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)


• Define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.


• Spanish proficiency a plus.
