We are currently looking for an LTL Carrier Operations Admin to join our team in Dallas. This position will be Hybrid after training.

Title: LTL Operation Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX

Responsibilities and Key Points Related to the Position:


  • Reports to LTL Operations Manager

  • Coordinating directly with our LTL partner Carriers.
  • Obtain proper information and/or data regarding carrier payments
  • Check carrier accounts for any previous payments
  • Reading common carrier tariffs, accessorial charges, FAK's and freight classes as defined by the NMFC.
  • Researching and verify classification of LTL shipments using appropriate company tools.
  • Correspond with carrier contacts and respond to inquiries timely
  • Handle a large number of carrier calls and emails
  • Set carrier invoices for payment and maintain carrier balance sheets
  • Research and resolve carrier payment discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain electronic carrier invoice documents and files

Qualifications

Required knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • 2-5 years general office experience
  • Must be able to work quickly and accurately
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to prioritize assignments
  • Self-motivated with outstanding customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills

Desired knowledge and Skills:

  • Transportation industry knowledge a plus but not required
  • LTL experience preferred but not required

Scheduling Requirement:

  • Requires excellent attendance Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Hybrid after training, 3 days in the office 2 dyas remote
  • Occasional overtime may be required.
