ABOUT THE JOB



The Solutions Consultant serves as member of the Marathon Health Growth Team working together to identify, develop and drive revenue operations. Analyze complex prospect requirements, uncover business challenges, and provide compelling, unique solutions that leverage Marathon Health's value proposition, capabilities and technologies. Partner with Marathon Health's Growth Team, prospective Marathon client's and benefit consultants to support a variety of activities throughout the entire sales cycle. Works to strengthen the sales execution of the company by increasing sales velocity and helping the organization achieve our annual revenue growth targets.


Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) for Marathon's products and services, working with the business development team to understand the prospective client's business objectives and requirements to customize our solution to meet their needs. Play a key role helping to ensure the successful transition of a new client through "go-live" by collaborating with Marathon's Account Management, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Operations, Marketing and Implementation teams.


Additional responsibilities include assisting the business development team during the sales cycle by supporting RFP responses, building proposals, delivering demonstrations, conducting educational sessions or clinic tours for prospective clients and/or benefit consultant partners, coordinating communications internally and externally.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop deep expertise of Marathon Health products and solution areas, including our health center services, coaching, wellness tools, occupational care, and others as assigned

  • Support the growth team in the pursuit of new opportunities, specifically identification of business requirements and solution conceptualization

  • Partner with Sales Lead, client and benefit consultant to provide support across all phases of the sales cycle from prospect through implementation

  • Support our sales team by being responsible for creating and/or delivering product demos presentations and/or enabling our Sales team to deliver these demos and presentations

  • Leverage or develop industry experience to consult and influence the client's direction, in alignment with their business objectives and Marathon's scope of services

  • Continually identify and highlight any risks or opportunities to improve the sales strategy, pipeline, or business development team performance

  • Evangelize and educate others on the application of and benefits associated with Marathon solutions among prospective clients, partners, and teammates



  • Lead, coordinate, and/or attend internal and external meetings with prospective clients, benefit consulting partners, key stakeholders

  • Consistently scan the competition and become an expert on our differentiation and where the market is headed

  • Attend industry events and be a brand ambassador to increase awareness of Marathon products and services

  • Partner with marketing/creative services to build effective sales collateral and lead gen activities that engage prospective clients and aligns with their business initiatives

  • Help manage the pipeline in Salesforce (CRM) as necessary to ensure appropriate transparency and reporting of activities across the organization

  • Bring a collaborative, creative and competitive attitude to the sales team and Marathon's corporate culture




QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field and 3+ years of experience in sales or account management experience with a strong focus on collaboration and building relationshipsor equivalent combination of education an experience.



DESIRED ATTRIBUTES



  • Experience in health insurance/benefits, health or wellness industry preferred.

  • Experience using Salesforce to manage sales pipeline and opportunities, or equivalent CRM

  • Demonstrated experience and ability in managing a long sales cycle or complex enterprise sales

  • Strong balance of sales, project management, business, and critical thinking skills

  • Strong technical expertise using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability topromote teamwork and build effective relationships.

  • Ability to multi-project and effectively manage time to meet deadlines

  • Ability to perform and complete projects with minimal supervision

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented and ability to manage the competing priorities of coordinating multiple tasks and projects with different deadlines.



  • Flexibility to operate in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment.

  • A proven record of successfully working with stakeholders/clients, guests, and vendors.

  • Strong written and oral communications skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidential documents and communication and use judgment and discretion.

  • High level of critical thinking, and creative and effective problem-solving skills.




Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000/yr



The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level.
