<span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The IT Specialist II is responsible for driving superior client service and employee engagement in addition to coaching, training and development of their team through the Geek Squad City's (GSC) internal IT helpdesk. Responsibilities include maintaining GSC IT/IS network and hardware and addressing outages. Maintains inventory of all GSC electronic assets. This role is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day needs of the team.<br><br>Key accountabilities:<br><br>Leadership:</span></span><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Onboards and trains new team members</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Establishes and maintains a positive work environment that will promote creativity, safety, staff development, personal growth, and high style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Provided support for Telecommunications and Call Centers, including client side software, soft phones, reporting, call management, call recording and server side call recording and administration</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Special projects as requested and may delegate tasks to Tier I (IT Specialist)</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Will communicate and work with vendors and Corporate IT teams for solutions</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Server Administration and maintenance of EMC, Windows, Apple and other proprietary systems</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Administration of GSC SharePoint and Active Directory Systems</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Research and development of new systems to reduce costs and increase efficiencies</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Organizes and initiates procurement, deployment, installation, and repair of hardware</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Initiates Operating System deployment and software installation</span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> Basic Qualifications:</span></span><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1 year of experience in customer service or helpdesk</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1 year of experience in advanced PC hardware and software troubleshooting</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">2 years of experience with troubleshooting issues related to Windows and Microsoft Office products</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">2 years of experience with Windows systems administration</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1 year of experience with Business Networking Systems and Networking Fundamentals</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1 year of experience conducting independent troubleshooting</span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> Preferred Qualifications:</span></span><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">6 months of experience in a supervisory and/or leadership position</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">1 year of experience with Windows Server Administration</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">2 years of experience in advanced PC hardware and software troubleshooting</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">3 years of experience with troubleshooting issues related to Windows and Microsoft Office products</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">3 years of experience with Windows systems administration</span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Associates Degree in related field (or equivalent
