The Judge Group is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Starkville, MS area.

Role Overview: The Electrical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for executing strategic asset programs, including control systems, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation, and supporting various projects.


Key Responsibilities:


•Develop and manage medium to long-term asset management plans for electrical plant assets to achieve business objectives such as safety, cost efficiency, and quality production.


•Prepare and administer budgets for projects and programs, identifying opportunities to reduce costs.


•Follow change management processes, including drawing updates, and support the drawing office.


•Support Operations in project execution by completing maintainability analysis and operational readiness activities.


•Manage and execute asset improvement and integrity projects across multiple engineering disciplines.


•Perform life cycle costing analysis of plant assets to determine optimal asset strategies.


•Govern statutory compliance and inspection processes, developing methods and processes for inspection.


•Apply ISO 5000, ISO 55001, IEEE, and IEC electrical standards.


•Assist maintenance teams in developing repair scopes of work (SOW) for electrical equipment and infrastructure.


•Monitor inspection quality and manage compliance standards.


•Ensure plant reliability by implementing asset management and maintenance improvement programs.


•Support the Maintenance Reliability Engineer in developing electrical asset maintenance strategies.


•Review and approve all project electrical designs.


•Develop plant standards and specifications that meet or exceed industry standards.


•Create and maintain an Asset Integrity Register for site electrical assets.


•Develop 5- to 10-year plans to guide capital budgeting for electrical infrastructure maintenance and improvements.


•Perform risk analysis on current and future site equipment and activities.


•Lead the Electrical Works program for the site.


•Practice site safety procedures and participate in monitoring site safety adherence.


•Monitor site energy consumption and ensure electrical capacity is maintained.


•Use AutoCAD and power system analysis software.


•Consistently apply and use Outward Mindset Principles and Tools.


Qualifications:


•BS in Electrical Engineering.


•3-7 years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial environment preferred.


•Project management experience.


•Experience in industrial or chemical facilities preferred.


•Proficiency in electrical codes and power systems.


•Experience in asset life cycle management and reliability engineering.


•Experience in energy analysis and conservation.
