Description
Manages multiple aspects of website and related system development, optimization, and maintenance. The key areas of responsibility for the role include custom development for multiple Shopify storefronts, design and development for small web and mobile applications related to each brand, and the internal systems that interface with those websites and apps, including NetSuite, ShipStation, and various standard/popular marketing Saas applications. As the sole, key technical function across two small brands, the role supports multiple aspects of keeping our digital direct to consumer operations running, and acts as a resource to the broader team.
Ownership of performance and functionality of ecommerce properties and related systems. Development of custom themes and programmatic solutions to business problems on ecommerce platforms. Close collaboration with other departments and product managers to become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team. Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot real-time system integrations to minimize downtime of core business processes.
What we require
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mathematics or related field and 2 year of experience in this field. 2 year of experience with front-end development technologies, including modern HTML and CSS, Javascript and Python.
