The Manager Marketing is a first-level manager that leads a multidiscipline General Marketing team by using specialized knowledge and an understanding of various marketing disciplines. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the planning and execution of various marketing activities.



Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Analyze service levels, product performance standards, and sales activity to revise product mix and vendor participation, establish adjustments, and monitor for effectiveness.
  • Analyze marketing strategies and adapt strategies to drive broader reach and deeper understanding of company messaging.
  • Develop and manage all digital marketing expenses, forecasts to planned levels, and costs for merchandising items. Establish pricing guidelines.
  • Frequently coordinate with various teams and departments to ensure digital channels, tools, brands, and content are accurate, relevant, and consistent.
  • May lead and develop key sustainability messaging, product launches and campaigns, and sustainability stories.
  • Research, analyze, and forecast financial and demographic factors to identify cost savings opportunities to maximize profits and market penetration with respective brand, product, other marketing strategies.
  • Make decisions on behalf of the team within the parameters of the unit or sub-unit.
  • Recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
  • Provide direction to team according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Oversee day-to-day work schedules and plans.
  • Act as an advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved in resolving problems.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies.
  • Review relevant factors to analyze situations and resolve issues.
  • Perform other duties as needed.



Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 6-8 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.

  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
