Tasks
Maintain all plant metrics in safety and environmental, quality, productivity, delivery, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and attendance.
Reporting or correcting safety infractions observed and making sure employees are following all safety procedures and addressing those who fall short.
Responsible for making sure employee's entries in Kronos are accurate and submitted for processing each week.
Attend Quarterly Supervisor Meetings.
Responsible for performing annual hourly performance reviews and handling all disciplinary actions.
Hold operators accountable and insure each are meeting or exceeding productivity goals and addressing those who aren't meeting expectations.
Work closely with QA/Engineering in resolving or eliminating quality related issues.
Analyze daily information and provide necessary feedback to employees.
Train and mentor employees through support of the training function.
Monitor employee performance through tracking, proper documentation, and effective corrective action.
Provide positive feedback while monitoring performance.
Support the Lean Flex Flow Process.
Ability to discuss employee relation issues in a professional and confidential manner.
Must be able to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 6am to 6pm and any OT due to vacations, seminars, etc.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED AND 2 years' Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR
Associates degree or higher AND 1 years' Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical field.
5 years' experience in supervision
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Strong organizational and computer skills
Ability to manipulate data using M.S. Office applications
Effectively lead in a team environment
