Job Description:

Beacon Hill Financial has a contract to hire Senior Payroll Specialist role available in Earth City, MO. This person will be responsible for the following:

• Primary objective is to process biweekly and weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner while providing excellent customer service to all levels of employees.


• Responsible for balancing and reviewing all taxes related to assigned payroll, including Federal, State, FICA plus the balancing of W2's.


• Work with internal and external auditors for testing of SOX compliance and internal controls.


• Oversee supplemental payroll inputs such as wage garnishments, loans, or levies.


• Ensure payroll results and general ledger reports are transmitted to Finance.


• Perform payroll audit reconciliations.


• Act as project lead for acquisitions, mergers, and process modifications and adjustments.
