Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide support to general Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery care in addition to Facial Plastic and Head and Neck reconstruction, including facial trauma. The Section of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery is committed to medical education, research, patient care, and serving our community.
Clinical responsibilities will include supporting Otolaryngology at the Hyde Park location and affiliated off-sites. Other duties include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity.
Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the States of Illinois and Indiana, and 3) be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology or equivalent.
We especially welcome applicants that have completed an accredited Residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
