Pharmaceutical Company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for a 6+ mo contract in Kankakee, IL!!



Position Overview:

• Role: Engineer


• Entry Level ok


• Location: On-site in Kankakee, with potential for remote work post-training


• Shift: 1st shift hours


• Contract Length: Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension


• Pay Rate: $82-96/hour W2 ONLY, no sponsorship now or in future

Responsibilities:

• Learn manufacturing processes, focusing on Fractionation, Bulk Purification, and Fill/Finish.


• Support deviation and batch release processes from a process engineering (PE) perspective.


• Draft technical assessments using worst-case data and downscale reports to justify batch releases.


• Conduct peer reviews for technical assessments.


• Perform normalization calculations based on characterization testing results.


• Participate in taskforces aimed at achieving "Right First Time" processes.


• Engage in lab or shop floor work as required.


• Handle sample logistics for technical assessments, sending samples to various R&D/QC departments.


• Assist with process and equipment improvements through the Global Continuous Improvement (GCC) initiative.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.


• Skills:
  
  
  
  • Familiarity with engineering design and evaluation processes.
  
  
  • Basic understanding of technical product development and analysis.
  
  
  • Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and quality control procedures.
