Join our globally-renowned Oncology area, which is owning the rapid business growth of our enterprise and ever-evolving industry. As the Senior Director, Medical Diagnostics - Oncology, you will ensure the timely, high-quality input into development and lifecycle plans, supporting efficient companion diagnostics/testing solutions to enable efficient treatment throughout the patient journey. This role is within US Medical Affairs supporting the GYN/GU Oncology Franchise.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for the GYN/GU medical Dx strategy and lead all aspects of the creation and delivery of the Dx plan per indication within the tumor types. You will generate diagnostics and test utilizations related insights from local institutions to craft US input into the development and regulatory approach for the GYN/GU portfolio. You will also lead pharma alliance relationships in support of partnered products and ensure in-market companion diagnostics/testing excellence for all product launches.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Sophisticated medical degree (MD, PhD)
5+ years of experience in health care delivery; including US oncology experience
3 years at least in a strategy setting role, preferably oncology diagnostic
At least 3 years pharmaceutical company experience required
Drug launch experience required
Extensive experience in relationship and partner management
Effective matrix leadership experience
Experience with diagnostic test launch planning and evidence generating efforts to support diagnostic test adoption
Experience in medical affairs
Experience leading people in HQ roles. Experience leading field roles a plus.
Experience in preparing submission for guideline or regulatory updates
People management experience
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Validated experience with a broad base of external guides including prescribers, payors, and providers.
An understanding of diagnostic FDA environment, clinical laboratory practices including CLIA lab requirements and test implementation
Proven track record of critical thinking, judgment and influencing skills
Proven track record in demonstration of effective cross-functional project team leadership
Ability to lead and influence through change
Positive relationship and collaboration skills

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $202,838 to $304,258 [TAq Partner will express compensation range as 80% - 120% of the role's MRP, either as annual base pay or as the hourly rate (annual base pay divided by 2080 hours)]. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
