Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial operations within a dynamic private equity-owned manufacturing environment. This role is essential for driving financial performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of private equity dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Cost Management: Implement and manage cost control measures, analyzing manufacturing costs and driving initiatives to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity positions. Develop strategies to optimize cash management and ensure financial stability.
  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities and support due diligence efforts related to acquisitions or capital projects. Provide financial insights to guide decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations, sales, and executive teams to align financial strategies with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Private Equity Engagement: Collaborate with private equity partners on financial performance, strategic initiatives, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance management, with a focus on manufacturing and private equity environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, reporting, and operational finance.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
