Currently, StaffBright has a great Lead Project Engineer opportunity for a client located in Sterling Heights, MI. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of controls-related engineering experience and be able to use CAD programs.
This role is contract-to-hire and involves frequent travel to Tennessee (75-90%).
Job Responsibilities:
Engineer and lead a team of engineers during the hardware and software design phases of assigned projects
Develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screens and oversee the creation of system manuals
Lead the system commissioning process to ensure successful project implementation
Specialize in managing and delivering specific Ford project requirements
Manage project timelines and coordinate with the project team to ensure on-time completion
Provide hands-on problem-solving and technical design support using AutoCAD
Ensure the successful integration of hardware and software systems across all project phases
