Progressive Dental Marketing is a dental marketing and consulting firm located in Clearwater, FL. We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to create and maintain accurate, real-time reports and dashboards that will enable our departments to make data-driven decisions.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and extensive experience in building PowerBI reports and dashboards. This role requires close collaboration with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Management, and Training, to determine reporting needs, integrate data, and ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with all departments to identify reporting needs and integrate relevant data into PowerBI.
Connect PowerBI to various data sources and build comprehensive reports and dashboards for each department.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure all reports are accurate and align with the financial system, NetSuite.
Utilize PowerQuery and SQL to handle data queries and transformations.
Ensure data integration from multiple systems, making necessary connections and calculations for accurate reporting.
Manage a project list and prioritize outstanding projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
Take constructive criticism and act on feedback to continuously improve reporting accuracy and functionality.
Speak authoritatively on finance principles, reporting standards, and PowerBI concepts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and PowerBI.
Proficient in building dashboards and handling PowerQuery and SQL queries.
Solid understanding of finance concepts, principles, best practices, and fundamentals.
Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems.
Skilled in making API calls and queries for data integration.
Ability to work independently and flexibly, pivoting as needed based on project requirements.
Strong project management skills, capable of managing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with NetSuite or similar financial systems required. Other systems and CRMs is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to connect data from multiple systems and make accurate, meaningful connections and calculations.
