ABC Technologies' core business as an Automotive Tier 1 supplier is in the Design, Development and Production of plastic automotive systems and components for OEMs worldwide.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Automotive Quality and Warranty Data Analyst is responsible for giving direction, recommendations, and guidance to plants for their compliance to customer & ABC Technologies quality requirements and directives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • To become knowledgeable with the assigned customers, commodities, company standards and plants.
  • Consolidate corporate wide data into monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Communicate data trends and proactively work with manufacturing teams to improve quality.
  • Monitor customer portals and tabulate information related to quality and warranty.
  • Develop standardized reports that provide actionable data.
  • Conduct follow-up activities to verify corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assist plants in problem solving critical customer warranty issues.
  • Participate in customer warranty part reviews.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Quality Engineering background in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge and experience with application of Statistical tools.
  • IATF 16949 internal auditor training.
  • Training in AIAG Core Tools and knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements.
  • Working experience with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC & GD&T is preferred.
  • Experience in blow/injection moulding processes.
  • Experience in dealing with major OEM's, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Expert level Excel skills (macros and data manipulation).
  • Minitab competency considered an asset.
  • Experience with planning and carrying out projects.
