This is an opportunity for a Director of Operations to join a prominent and successful real estate team at Douglas Elliman that is known for its exceptional work in New Development. The Director of Operations will be the point person for all business operations behind the scene, providing the team lead with hands-on support and exceptional communication. The Director of Operations will also be responsible for managing the Sales Team's business operations.

Role and Responsibilities
Team Management & Business Administration
Assist in engendering a team culture of inclusivity, collaboration, respect, hard work and efficiency: as a small team, the culture and how it affects each member is important
Create operational and administrative processes for team members to follow, which promotes efficiency and accountability to their respective tasks
Set goals and track the progress of Team Lead and Team members and manage their periodic reviews
Track team splits, team members' workloads and experience to assist the Team Lead in assigning new business
Assist Team Lead in commission payouts and manage brokerage pay advances and expense reimbursements
Oversee broker and new staff recruitment, and vetting new consultants and vendors
Business liaison between Team + Brokerage, including accounting, legal, marketing, PR
Resale Management
Oversee Team Resale business, ensuring collaboration and clear communication between team members, support and brokerage staff
Support agents as needed with pitches including pricing and marketing proposals
Support agents as needed with exclusives, disclosures, board packages
New Development Management
Oversee and support New Dev PM manage and enhance the internal team organization to ensure maximum efficiency and timely response for Client.
Assist Team Lead and New Dev PM in pursuing, pitching and vetting potential new developments, analyzing financial plausibility and return on investment potential
Business Development
Support Team Lead on all pitches, prospecting and new business pursuits
Oversee Pipeline, tracking leads, prioritizing focus and strategizing ways to "warm" leads
Manage and support Team Lead and Marketing Coordinator on CRM
Manage PR process, ensuring continuity of brand messaging and strategy
Manage Marketing Coordinator around schedules and production, quality control, etc for print, digital, video, website, social media, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with Google Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
A minimum of three to five years of working in a support role
A minimum of three to five years of experience in NYC Real Estate industry
Work experience in New York City; knowledge/familiarity with neighborhoods, transportation restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.
Outstanding organizational skills
Exceptional professionalism, communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic, highly responsive with a warm attitude
Calm demeanor under pressure and ability to remain professional at all times
