Job Title: Payroll Analyst (UKG Implementation Project)

Location: Remote/Hybrid, downtown Seattle 3x week

Duration: 18-24 months

Rate: $50-65/hr W2

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our clients Payroll Track team for a critical HCM implementation project. You will be responsible for performing data validations and business process analyses to ensure a successful system conversion. In this role, your expertise in handling complex payroll transactions, including garnishments and payroll tax administration, will be essential. UKG Payroll experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data validation and business process analysis for the payroll track.
  • Ensure compliance with US and Canadian labor and wage regulations.
  • Manage complex payroll transactions, including garnishments, taxable benefits, and payroll tax calculations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system conversion.
  • Provide input on payroll processes, including system testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent combination of experience).
  • 3-5 years of multi-state payroll experience, including payroll tax and garnishment administration.
  • CPP certification or equivalent advanced payroll compliance experience is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of FLSA, wage and hour compliance, payroll tax compliance, and other relevant HR/payroll regulations.
  • Strong experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (UKG required; SAP, Workday, ADP, Ceridian are a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all management levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel.

Preferred Experience:
  • Previous payroll system implementation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and work on problems of moderate scope.
