Job Description:

MTX Group Inc. (MTX) is currently hiring for the position of Lead Consultant in a PMO Role. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive experience in leading large-scale complex projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project lifecycles to ensure on-time, within scope and within budget delivery. They will coordinate with stakeholders, manage resources, and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives and meet defined goals and maintain MTX quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Consultant is expected to ensure project implementations align with client business

goals, driving project success and sustainability while executing the following responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, needs, and pain points.
  • Facilitate working sessions with key stakeholders - Technical managers, PMO, VP, CP and subject matter experts.
  • Responsible for ensuring alignment between project deliverables and the client's strategic business goals.
  • Establish engagement and operating model with various stakeholders utilizing MTX Delivery Methodology and Gold Standards.

2. Client Relationship Management:
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, providing regular project updates, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Oversee quality assurance to meet client standards and enhance satisfaction.
  • Maintain contract compliance and seek continuous feedback.
  • Advocates for the use of MTX best practices and ensures alignment with client objectives.

3. Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develops and establishes a comprehensive project plan and milestones.
  • Executes the project plan, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.
  • Manages project resources, schedules, and budgets effectively.
  • Identifies and manages issues and risks proactively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Tracks project progress and milestones, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

4. Financial Management:
  • Responsible for overseeing project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Allocating resources efficiently, managing vendor contracts, and providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks to protect the project budget and profitability.

5. Communication and Reporting:
  • Generates and distributes weekly status reports to stakeholders.
  • Communicates project updates, risks, and issues effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Ensures clear and consistent communication channels are established and maintained throughout the project.

6. Organization Development:
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to the project, fostering their professional growth and development within the team.
  • Growth and Development of Project/ Regional teams: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the field. Lead Continuous improvement of Salesforce development processes and procedures. Participate in the hiring process to identify top talent for the projects. Support Directors, VPs and PDM in talent development in the region by identifying relevant training programs for focused groups. Responsible for performance documentation of team members in collaboration with PDM(s).
  • Contribution to the COE (Center of Excellence): Collaborate with top talent across various work streams to support development of best practices, create cutting-edge solutions, and set industry standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and thought leadership, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of technological advancements and market trends.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintenance of Salesforce Certifications, required to travel for key project milestones, and maintain utilization goals.

What you will bring:
  • 7-10 years of relevant Project Management experience.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering/leading a project delivery..
  • Proficient in understanding the platform, including its architecture, data model, features, and capabilities.
  • Expert in developing a comprehensive project plan and milestones.
  • Expert in managing stakeholder relationships, providing regular project updates, and resolving any issues that may arise, ensuring clear communication and understanding of client needs.
  • Expert in allocating resources, managing vendor contracts, and providing regular financial reports to stakeholders and mitigating any financial risk.
  • Expert in using project management tools like MS Project Plan, BEANS, MS Office Timelines.
  • Proficiency in maintaining key relationships with clients and building new relationships.
  • Excellent collaboration and risk management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional globally distributed teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal skills with a user centric approach to problem solving.
  • PMP certification/Master or diploma in Project Management is preferred.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree and above is desirable.
