Our client, a prestigious regional California firm, is seeking a complex commercial litigation attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a broad litigation practice and a drive to succeed. The role is hybrid out of the Los Angeles office. There is no formal billable hour requirement but the firm has high standards for its attorneys.
Responsibilities
Handle a diverse practice in complex commercial litigation including intellectual property, securities, privacy, class actions, business torts, contract disputes, attorney malpractice, internal investigations, white collar criminal, environmental, health care, high technology, media and entertainment, and products liability.
Represent clients in high-stakes commercial disputes involving contracts, business torts, and corporate governance issues.
Manage all phases of litigation, including pre-trial motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Provide strategic legal counsel and develop case strategies aimed at achieving favorable outcomes in complex commercial matters.
Qualifications
2-5 years of litigation experience.
Admission to California bar.
Previous clerkship preferred, but not required.
Previous Big Law firm experience preferred, but not required.
Interest in developing business development acumen.
