You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to drive project success.
THIS ROLE IS FULLY ONSITE, LOCATED IN FORT LEE, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Develop project plans and timelines; monitor progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
Coordinate resources and collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
Conduct regular project reviews and post-mortems to capture lessons learned and improve future projects.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
Proactively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
Anticipate and address potential challenges, making necessary adjustments to maintain project progress.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and upcoming milestones.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, and issue logs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the project management team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a software development context; experience in a startup is a plus.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure, DevOps) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are preferred but not required.
