Job Title: Check-In Host
Location: Philadelphia (Conference Venue)
Duration: 1 Week
Pay: $20/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the convention.
- Check in attendees efficiently using event software or provided systems.
- Distribute badges, event materials, and provide relevant information to attendees.
- Answer attendee questions and provide general assistance throughout the check-in process.
- Assist with managing lines and maintaining order at registration stations.
- Ensure a positive and seamless guest experience at all times.
- Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an organized and efficient check-in area.
Qualifications:
- Prior customer service or event experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy; experience with check-in systems or event software is a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be available for the full week of the conference.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility with hours, including early mornings or evenings, depending on the conference schedule.
