JOB SUMMARY
The Specimen Tech is responsible for specimen processing which include coordinating specimen pick up, processing the samples, properly storing samples within the lab, and shipping specimen.
This position works under the guidance and direction of the Lab Supervisor and is accountable for receiving and centrifuging specimen and compliance activities including implementation, coordination, and reporting of lab activities initiated by or assigned to department. The overall goal is to assist and work in the discovery, development, and manufacturing of new drug therapies that will impact the health and well-being of people across the globe!
Must Haves:
High school diploma or GED
Full time, In-person: Monday- Friday 40 hours per week
Comfortable working with in a facility with animals (rodents and primates)
Nice to have: previous experience handling specimens
