Hours/schedule: 7:30 am-4 ,OR, 8 -4:30, or 8:30-5pm EST (40 hours a week)
Duration: 6 months minimum + extensions + opportunity to go full time
Salary: Competitive hourly rate

Location: Camden, NJ- onsite 5 days a week

MUSTS:
- 2+ years of medical background exposure
- knows how to read EOB's (explanation of benefits) within health insurance
- comfortable with inbound and outbound phone calls
- experience with health insurance and medical terminology: Knows contracted rates, payments, co pay, deductibles and can explain to a patient
- Experience speaking with patients
- Good with documentation and taking notes
- Experience resolving health insurance issues and following up until they are resolved
-Great personality and communication- has a serious work demeanor
- Comfortable emailing doctors

DAY TO DAY: Seeking someone who can provide estimates to every single self pay patient. Someone who can make inbound and outbound calls to the patient. You must make an attempt to call the patient. Refer candidates to different departments. Work with third parties and refer patients to 3rd parties. Provide estimates to patients and keeping in mind things like patients geographic location, types of office visit, global billing periods, charging for visits vs exrays, etc. This role does require thinking outside of the box. Ability to pick up on hospital and physician billing aspects.
