Investment Operations Analyst - Dallas/Houston/Austin Location

Full Time Position

Americana Partners is an independent wealth advisory firm working with a select group of families and individuals to help them simplify the management of their substantial wealth. Our clients include patriarchs and matriarchs, executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs, both established and emerging.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist and support the Executive Director of Portfolio and Platform Management on projects as they arise and provide data-management support
• Provide trade platform assistance in monitoring trade restrictions, supporting model portfolios, and communicating high cash accounts/security deposits to the Director of Trading and cross train with the Director of Trading to perform some trade related duties as needed.
• Distribute reporting as needed for maintaining the American platform and become knowledgeable in all aspects of trading, billing, and performance reporting.
• Participate in weekly calls with Mirador to support the performance reporting system Addepar and become knowledgeable in processes and procedure to be a point of contact to field questions from firm employees.
• Maintain due diligence files for all approved fund which involves regularly setting up call schedules with fund managers, saving quarterly reporting to internal systems, and maintaining audit files for all approved managers.
• Assist in content development (Monthly Market Commentary, Ad Hoc Reports, Communications, Asset Allocation Guidelines, Memos, and Approved Investment Lists) and coordinate with internal departments for compliance approval and distribution.
• Assist Private Wealth Advisors in generating client proposals as needed in Morningstar Direct and/or excel using client statements and information provided by clients
• Provide assistance with Alternative Investments using various software solutions and tracking cashflow and valuations for all Americana and client directed alternative investments. Provide support in the subscription process with the various Private Wealth Advisors, custodians and third parties. Help maintain critical information on supported funds including closing dates, minimums, and expenses.
• Regularly seek opportunities to use firm resources for peer sharing and collaborating
• Actively engage in available training and education programs to maintain current status on policies, procedures and risk awareness
  • Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education and/or Experience
• Active FINRA Series 65 License preferred or must pass exam within 90 days of employment
• Three or more years of RIA industry experience preferred
• Strong investment operations experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge/Skills
• Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and service skills
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Reliable and accountable team player with the ability to collaborate with others
• Strong understanding of the need for confidentiality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, tech reliant, and evolving environment
