Role Description
Join our team as a Senior Estimator in Scottsdale, where your 8-10 years of commercial TI construction expertise will be instrumental in delivering service excellence to our clients. You will not only lead the budgeting, bidding, and trade coordination of projects but also play a vital role in mentoring and developing a small team of estimators. This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional committed to quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction, while fostering the growth of the next generation of estimating talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Client-Focused Leadership: Lead and coordinate all phases of the budgeting, bidding, and buyout process for construction projects, ensuring each step is executed with a commitment to service excellence and client satisfaction.
Project Delivery & Strategy: Analyze project documents to develop accurate cost estimates, collaborating closely with planning, design, and construction teams to ensure quality and value for clients at every stage.
Team Development & Training: Mentor and develop a small team of estimators, sharing your expertise, and providing guidance to ensure both their professional growth and the success of the project.
Creative and Strategic Approach: Execute innovative and strategic project delivery methods that generate value for clients, while maintaining a critical eye for quality and precision.
Collaborative Partnerships: Work with trade professionals and the Client Experience team to ensure that estimates reflect the highest standards of service and accuracy.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in construction management with advanced knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry standards.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train a small team of estimators.
Strong leadership abilities with exceptional communication skills, focused on delivering exceptional client service.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while keeping the big picture in focus and adapting to shifting project demands.
Established relationships with local trade partners in Arizona.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or move moderate-size packages up to 30 lbs.
Flexibility to move or travel as needed based on project demands.
