Job Summary

We seek an experienced project manager with a solid commercial HVAC and plumbing project background to join our Phoenix, AZ, team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience managing large-scale projects, including hospitals, schools, airports, data centers, high-rises, hotels, and arenas. This role is crucial for overseeing complex mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and under budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee large and complex projects such as hospitals, data centers, and high-rise buildings, applying industry best practices and innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Direct project teams, including subcontractors and in-house staff, foster a collaborative environment emphasizing safety, efficiency, and excellence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded, and identify opportunities for additional services and future projects.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local codes and regulations and that all necessary documentation, reports, and records are accurately maintained.

Qualifications???????

  • Minimum of 5 years in project management within the commercial HVAC and plumbing sector, focusing on large-scale projects such as hospitals, data centers, and high-rise buildings.
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent field experience will be considered.
  • Must be a local candidate with a stable work history in the Phoenix area, possessing a thorough understanding of the local market and its unique challenges.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage complex schedules, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working with top mechanical contractors in the region.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, multi-million dollar projects.
  • A strong network within the Phoenix construction industry.
