We are a Facilities Maintenance and Property Management company in the greater Manchester, New Hampshire area seeking an experienced VP of Operations for our organization. In addition to Manchester, we have hubs in Boston, Massachusetts, and Portland, Maine.
What you will do:
People Management: Working with the managers and associates to help overall career development. This includes fostering an environment of open communication, regular performance reviews, and annual reviews. This also involves directly training managers/supervisors as well as helping all personnel obtain whatever training may be needed.
Client Management: While not on the front lines, the VP of Operations will be integral in helping to prevent and/or solving any issues that arise. You will also be overseeing the scheduling of the 75+ employees (building maintenance personnel, cleaning teams, boiler operators, and food service associates).
Financial Management: Overseeing budgets and ensuring payroll is accurate. Also overseeing estimates and making sure bids are profitable. Ultimately, making sure the business is profitable.
About you:
You have the ability to be flexible with your time for some work to be done outside of business hours as well as travel within 100 miles of Manchester in the New Hampshire/Massachusetts/Maine area.
You have experience recognizing problems and resolving them by creating SOPs or implementing software to make the organization more efficient.
You are entrepreneurial and passionate about customer service and helping the organization
Strong technical skills especially in MS Excel and potentially in other reporting/analytical tools
Prior experience in operations or a leadership role within a service organization.
You have the ability to get along with a diverse group of individuals.
