This position is remote, allowing you to work from your home office. However, candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Vermont.
Overall Responsibility
The Operations Analyst collects and analyzes data to evaluate operational processes, solve internal problems and facilitate complex decision-making using mathematical models and statistical analysis to forecast outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Research and evaluate issues/trends using modeling and analysis tools including supply and demand imbalances, processing throughput and capacity, byproduct reduction efforts, and farm performance among other topics.
Identify operational problems and consult with stakeholders to determine root cause and assist in remediation
Develop, monitor and escalate deviations of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) throughout the operational group including labor, throughput, downtime, waste, etc.
Assist in the forecast of operational resources and supply chain components
Collaborate with operational leaders and business counterparts to gather, understand and summarize data and create data-driven recommendations for improvement
Create impactful presentations in support of recommendations and performance
Collaborate with IT on software, technology and reporting solutions for operational challenges
Qualifications
B.S. + 3 years of experience or 6+ years of work experience in a related field
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Extreme proficiency with Microsoft Excel required and experience with Power Pivot and Power Query preferred
Proficient in PowerPoint and capable of producing impactful content
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Flexible to manage time across changes in task prioritization
