OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Fello is looking for a Product Manager to report to the CEO and work closely with the founders and cross-functional teams to drive the execution of our product roadmap, bringing innovative solutions to market and delivering an exceptional user experience. As a member of the start-up team, this role provides the unique opportunity to partner with and learn from a powerhouse team of executives with a proven track record of success, ranging from building the world's largest cannabis company, masterminding a multi-billion dollar two-way marketplace, leading a digital healthcare company to a staggering $18 billion exit, and guiding a legendary family business renowned for its foresight and creativity. RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development
  • Work closely with the founding team to understand and execute their vision for the product, ensuring that all product development activities align with the company's long-term goals and mission.
  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on user needs, business impact and market trends
  • Lead the product development process using Agile methodologies, ensuring that the product evolves quickly and efficiently in response to the founding team's vision and market demands.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to ensure that our product remains ahead of the curve and aligned with market opportunities

User Research and Advocacy
  • Conduct mixed-method research to gather user insights from both sides of the marketplace (Fellos and Finders)
  • Advocate for users, ensuring the product meets their needs and addresses pain points
  • Design and conduct experiments (e.g., A/B testing, prototyping) to optimize the user experience and drive innovation
  • Use structured experimentation to validate assumptions and guide product decisions

Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Use data and analytics to inform product decisions, measure success, and iterate on the product to better align with the founding team's objectives
  • Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics and support strategic decision-making
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to measure product success and drive improvements

Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with teams such as Engineering, Customer Experience, Operations, Marketing and Finance to ensure alignment and smooth execution

Willingness to "Wear Many Hats"
  • Take on a variety of tasks, including:
  • Developing product pricing strategies and recommendations
  • Creating decks for investor and board presentations
  • Conducting market research

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Strategy, Innovation, or User Research
  • Proven ability to tackle diverse business challenges
  • Proficiency in various research methodologies and strong data analytics skills (e.g., SQL, advanced Excel). Experience with tools like Tableau or Looker is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
