Product Development Scientist - SAP Implementation Specialist (Contract)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Product Development Scientist to join our team as a contract specialist to lead the implementation of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system upgrade across multiple development departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient transition of our development processes onto the new ERP platform, working closely with cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of the SAP(S4Hana) system upgrade across multiple development departments, including configuration, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop a detailed project plan to meet their needs.

Design and implement custom solutions to integrate the ERP system with existing development tools and systems.

Develop and execute testing plans to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data migration and system functionality.

Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and systems.

Provide training and support to development teams on the new ERP system, ensuring a smooth transition to the new platform.

Identify and address any technical issues that arise during the implementation process.

Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices.

Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and issues to stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

5+ years of experience in a product development or scientific research environment, with a focus on process improvement and technology adoption.

Proven experience in implementing ERP systems or similar software solutions.

Strong understanding of scientific research and development processes, including lab operations, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Familiarity with GxP regulations (e.g., GMP, GLP, GDP) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485).

Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:

Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience with specific ERP systems (SAP)

Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or data analytics (e.g., Certified Data Scientist).
