Technical Program Manager

The Opportunity

As part of the Product & Program Management team, the Technical Program Manager is responsible for the planning and delivery of KWI product offerings. The team works closely with our engineers to guide projects from conception to launch. The ideal candidate is passionate about building quality software that is well-considered and well-architected. They will have a strong technical background and will be able to rally teams of engineers and product managers to drive the development of great products.

The impact you'll make

  • Manage the software development lifecycle from ideation of a new feature or release to customer deployment
  • Understand how all aspects of the SDLC are executed from product design to deployment and customer service
  • Make informed recommendations to cross functional team members by taking part in daily project activities
  • Coordinate with vendors/contractors
  • Implement, measure and report various metrics on team/feature product quality and performance
  • Propose, champion and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Be accountable for the on-time delivery of planned project scope
  • Work with KWI teams to ensure each product effort is well defined and well built
  • Hold the team members accountable for their respective project responsibilities
  • Build consensus and coordinate project schedules with our team product and engineer teams
  • Manage cross project dependencies across various product releases
  • Communicate status updates and issues to stakeholders in a concise and timely manner
  • Manager and report on product programs and consisting of multiple product releases

What you will bring

  • You have a degree in Business, I.T., Computer Science, or related field
  • You have a minimum of 8 - 10 years of relevant experience as a Program Manager; experience as a Scrum Master preferred
  • You have experience with SaaS based offerings and with managing third part vendor relationships
  • You have experience working with different SDLC methodologies and different project management tools
  • You are able to manage a multitude of projects, in different phases, at the same time
  • You are able to build trust and respect amongst your technical peers
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You have implemented new processes for software delivery at your organization
  • You have a unique combination of technical skills and business savvy
  • You're a team player and can coordinate projects for both technical and non-technical team members
  • You have experience in designing and automating scalable processes for an enterprise company

Our work space

We understand that our teams need flexibility, which is why we follow a hybrid schedule. Our in-office days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and employees are allowed to work remotely on Wednesdays and Friday.
