The Fullstack Data Engineer will lead our data/recommendations engineering effort. This person will collaborate closely with the CEO and COO to align on a data/recommendations vision for the product, translate the vision into action, and define the future of our platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to the fullstack application, design/develop the data platform and build recommendation algorithms to improve gig/user matching and engagement. This person will be part of 3-person engineering team and will provide mentorship/leadership.
Responsibilities
Overall ownership and responsibility for the data/recommendations platform from a technical perspective, including seamless integration with fullstack experience
Lead the data/recommendations product build to align with overall business goals and KPIs
Manage the data/recommendations product roadmap and report to founders on timelines
Contribute to fullstack engineering roadmap to enhance product functionality and experience
Build the Large Language Model and AI infrastructure for existing application and experience
Build the data capture infrastructure to inform the public and enterprise API
Qualifications
3-7 years of experience as a fullstack software engineer, with depth in data and recommendation algorithms
Prior experience working in a smaller company environment (less than 50 employees)
