The Project Manager is tasked with interpreting, organizing, executing, and overseeing engineering projects that pose unique challenges and significantly influence major programs.
This role requires a high level of expertise in managing complex engineering projects and leading teams.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and direct large and critical engineering projects or multiple smaller projects with complex features.
Supervise engineering and support personnel to ensure project goals are met.
Analyze project scope, client requirements, and proposals; organize work and establish procedures to achieve project objectives.
Develop and monitor project design schedules to align with client and organizational timelines.
Oversee and manage client budgets and schedules to ensure projects stay on track.
Serve as both a team leader and client manager, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
Engage in business development, proposal writing, and overall project management.
Manage and mentor less experienced engineers and technical support staff.
Conceptualize initial design approaches for major phases of large projects or take overall responsibility for the engineering work on a project.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering projects that involve conventional practices as well as those with complex features, including conflicting design requirements.
Exercise independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, adapting, and modifying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
