Millwright - Rotating equipment Location: Bay City, TX 77414
Position type: Contract to hireEssential Duties & Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repairs:
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including vibration data collection

Maintain, dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical and hydraulic components (e.g., bearings, seals, shafts) on industrial machinery, such as motors, compressors, gearboxes, pumps, steam turbines, cylinders, gears, couplings, linkages, coolant systems, blowers, mixers, and filters.
Blueprints & Specifications:

Read and interpret blueprints for the mechanical operation and assembly of rotating equipment.
- Verify the quality offinished tasks, ensuring defect-free equipment by checking dimensions, alignment, and clearances according to specifications
Geometric Calculations:
- Perform geometric calculations, including proper fan blade pitch adjustments.
- Inspections & Preventative Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues or malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking- Troubleshoot and meet deadlines
Leadership:
- Oversee contractors and mentor new employees, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks
Requirements/Experience
- 10+ years of experience and knowledge of rotating equipment and machinery
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven time-management skills and task prioritization
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of SAP data entry system or equivalent.
