Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Linux-based systems that are central to our AI-driven fall prevention technology. You will collaborate closely with our software engineers, hardware designers, and data scientists to develop robust and scalable systems that integrate seamlessly with our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based systems for our AI-driven fall prevention solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Linux systems are effectively integrated with hardware, software, and AI components.
  • Perform system-level design and analysis, including requirements gathering, system architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and manage Linux systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems, providing support to ensure smooth operation across all deployments.
  • Work on the integration of Linux systems with sensors, AI algorithms, and other components essential to our fall prevention technology.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
  • Optimize system performance, including resource management, data flow, and real-time processing capabilities.
  • Document system designs, configurations, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and system maintenance.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Linux systems, AI, and related technologies to continuously improve our products.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Linux systems, with a strong understanding of its architecture and applications.
  • Proficiency in systems integration, with experience in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or similar technologies.
  • Experience with hardware and software co-design, particularly in safety-critical or high-reliability environments.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, or Python.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning principles and their integration with Linux systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust, scalable, and efficient systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or safety-critical systems.
  • Familiarity with sensor technologies and their integration with Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for embedded systems and networked environments.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
