Role Overview

The Client Service Analyst will provide support to the firm's Relationship Management, Client Service, Business Development and Operations Teams. Primary responsibilities will include assisting with the day-to- day management of client accounts, attending client meetings and industry conferences and working with the Business Development Team to generate prospect leads. The individual in this role will also assist with client reporting and onboarding as well as assuming operational aspects of client account management. The role requires an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to generate ideas independently, knowledge of and interest in capital markets as well as having strong oral and written communication skills. Given that we are an entrepreneurial firm, the person in this role will need to work with individuals across the firm, be comfortable wearing many hats and have

confidence to challenge ideas.

Location

Hybrid of in-person and work from home. However, the individual must be a resident of Vermont or South Carolina.

Requirements

This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. This role also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will allow for the coordination, assistance and correspondence with various areas of the company as well as to a variety of external constituents.

Prior experience in finance/asset management is required and direct experience or familiarity with captive insurance is also preferred, as is a demonstrated comfort level with public speaking and/or prior presentation experience.

Reporting

This role will report to the Head of Client Service.

Responsibilities

The following are the initial responsibilities for the role, which may change over time depending on business needs and the employee's growth within areas of the firm:

1) Oversee Management of Client Accounts
  • Review and approve client reports
  • Independently respond to client/other external party requests
  • Prepare portfolio commentary and analysis as needed
  • Review client portfolios and verify implementation of allocation or other changes
  • Effectively utilize Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Attend client meetings with senior Client Service and Business Development Team members with the goal of assuming primary relationship responsibility for certain accounts

2) Management of New Account Onboarding
  • Oversee new account onboarding process - this requires working with internal teams and external contacts to ensure that all aspects of the onboarding process are complete prior to new account funding
  • Assist with preparation/distribution of onboarding documentation and liaise with client contacts

3) Prepare Content for Meeting Materials and Coordinate Meeting Follow-ups
  • Generate content and ideas for client presentations and other external materials
  • Act independently to timely and accurately complete meeting follow-ups
  • Assist with the review and editing of content for external presentations, marketing materials and other communications
  • Maintain and utilize industry databases (i.e. eVestment) to generate content for materials

4) Operations
  • Develop proficiency with Clearwater Analytics (our online portfolio accounting & analytics system) to create custom dashboards and reports as well as respond to client requests
  • Assist with creation and distribution of trade applications for client accounts
  • Work with client custodians on account set-up and to resolve accounting/reconciliation issues
  • Update pricing/data information for third parties such as Morningstar, Refinitiv, Bloomberg, FT Interactive, etc.

5) Assist Business Development Team with Prospecting and RFP Completion
  • Assist with prospect data mining and outreach campaigns
  • Attend industry conferences and engage in dialogue with partners and prospects
  • Assist with preparation, coordination and delivery of RFP responses
