Job Title: Intelligent Manufacturing System Engineer
Job Overview:
As an Intelligent Manufacturing System Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily operations, on-site delivery, and continuous improvement of Trina Solar's intelligent manufacturing digital system. You will lead the integration of various systems and deliver innovative solutions tailored to business needs, ensuring smooth operations and system performance. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations and on-site delivery of the intelligent manufacturing platform and applications for Trina Solar.
Deliver 24/7 (8 hours shift) operational and maintenance (O&M) support to ensure system stability and continuous operation.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align system functionality with business objectives and ensure successful project delivery.
Analyze user needs and requirements to design optimal system configurations and enhance product performance.
Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Two years college degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in intelligent manufacturing systems, digital transformation, or a similar field.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in creating high-quality documentation using tools like Word, PPT, Visio, and Brain Map.
Understand software SDLC process and experienced with at least one product prototype design tool (e.g., Axure, Master Go, Mob, Ink Knife, or others).
Has experience with database development (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and is familiar with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
Project Management: PMP certification is preferred, demonstrating expertise in managing projects and delivering on-time solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate across teams. Mandarin speaking is highly desired
Leadership and Problem-Solving: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects, solve problems independently, and work under pressure.
Manufacturing Systems Experience: Familiarity with manufacturing information systems, including integration and implementation of intelligent manufacturing solutions.
Personal Attributes: Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and collaboration. Able to handle tasks independently while demonstrating resilience in high-pressure environments.
