Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance reporting metrics and tools for tracking plant performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Drive the achievement of savings targets through key capital investments, ensuring that standard costs are consistently updated to reflect current manufacturing processes.
Provide robust financial analyses to support new capital investments and sourcing decisions, and create reusable tools for future projects.
Optimize the organization and structure of the finance function within operations, implementing necessary changes to align with the finance mission.
Key Expertise:
Proven history of driving manufacturing excellence and a dedication to continuous learning.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing and sales operations, with hands-on experience in lean manufacturing principles.
Expertise in cost/managerial accounting, particularly in standard cost and project cost accounting.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to proactively address issues and collaborate effectively with Operations leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of five years of financial leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success as a financial leader and manager, with strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
Ability to transition seamlessly between strategic and tactical roles, with a hands-on approach in the manufacturing plant.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in leading ERP implementations across manufacturing operations, with a focus on finance modules.
Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on delivering value, profitability, and cash flow objectives.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a matrix environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with Contract Manufacturing is highly desirable.
