Director of Revenue Operations

Job Purpose & Summary

The Director of Rev Ops is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to design and execute strategic initiatives that maximize the overall profitability of Meyer Lab. By improving commercial processes, facilitating data-driven decision making, and taking on administrative tasks previously owned by the sales force, the RevOps team directly impacts and improve Meyer Lab's efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the Meyer Lab pipeline management process by facilitating pipeline management cadences across go to market teams and holding internal stakeholders accountable for pipeline/CRM cleanliness to drive accurate forecasts.
  • Drive the annual sales planning process in partnership with executive leadership to develop aggressive but attainable growth targets.
  • Design and lead initiatives in pursuit of commercial excellence with partnership from the executive leadership team and front-line stakeholders across Business Development, Sales and Service.
  • Create data-driven recommendations to optimize the sales process and develop programs to increase overall selling effectiveness.
  • Provide executive oversight and direction on commercial technology and data strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of specialists across analytics, technology, and operational enablement.

Education / Work Experience & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area of study preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Revenue or Sales Operations role
  • Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or related industry a plus
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering strategic initiatives across commercial organizations
  • Previous experience leading individual contributors across technology, enablement and data analytics roles
  • Ability to provide ongoing coaching and support to junior and senior team members
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Minimal Travel
  • Desk and computer work required.
  • Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
