Role Summary:

Step into a pivotal role within our dynamic and rapidly growing team! As the Director of Accounts Payable, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions for our management company and affiliated entities. You'll lead a dedicated team, drive process improvements, and ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and expense reimbursements.
  • Oversee cash management, including forecasting and banking relationships.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including billing and collections for funds and portfolio companies.
  • Implement best practices to optimize the accounts payable process and serve as the Concur systems administrator.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams for seamless operations and performance.
  • Review and authorize payment runs, ensuring proper approvals are in place.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain strong banking relationships.
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, cash forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Support quarterly and annual audit processes with necessary documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Mentor and develop your team, fostering high performance and professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, with a strong focus on team leadership.
  • Proven leadership experience is essential.
  • Expertise in Concur is required; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong track record of managing offshore teams effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
