This role plays a key part within the Accounting and Finance team, focusing on both operational and financial analysis while supporting related accounting activities.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the role collaborates with the Accounting leadership on various financial tasks, including complex transaction analysis and reporting. Responsibilities also involve preparing financial analyses related to the company's operations and ensuring accurate reflection of transactions in financial reporting systems.
JOB DUTIES:
Conduct a wide range of planning and financial analysis activities
Develop financial models and improve data accuracy
Assist with audits and process improvements
Participate in month-end close activities, including variance analysis and journal entries
Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate reporting of operational transactions
Prepare reports for management and the Board of Directors
Support ad hoc projects and audits
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Proficient in Excel and reporting tools; experience with Management Reporter or Power BI is a plus
Ability to work independently and problem-solve
Strong communication and collaboration skills
